Heat Proof Makeup

1. Don’t fight it
The heat will always win. Try not to wear heavy layers of powder to mattify, it always ends up looking caked and clogs pores, instead use a super fine mineral powder over the T-zone only and let the cheeks glow or if you have dry skin try skipping the powder until the autumn.

2. No heavy bases
Stick to tinted moisturisers or BB creams during warm months, keep your base sheer and light as possible, you can use your regular foundation as a concealer if you need more coverage. Embryolisse BB Cream

3. Creamy cheeks
Stick to cream or liquid blush that melts into the skin, the idea is to use fine layers of sheer make-up to create colour and contour. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Liquid Blush & Daniel Sandler Watercolour Creme Blush

4. Hot Lips
Experiment with fun, bright lip colours in the summer months. Try a liquid formula in a semi matte consistency for the longest lasting, most flattering effect. ELLIS FAAS Hot Lips – 27.00 €

5. Bright Liner
Add a pop of colour to your lids, without the fuss of eyeshadow. Use a waterproof liner in jewel shade for a fun, modern swish of colour, that stays in place all day. Daniel Sandler Waterproof EyelinerDaniel Sandler Invisible Blotting Powder
